CCMS Participates in Hour of Code

The hour of code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. December 7-11, Challenge Charter Middle School will host various events to encourage our students, staff and teachers to practice coding for a few minutes a day to add up to at least one hour for the week. In addition, scholars will be encourage to continue program on their own at home.

Activities for scholars include a Skype session with Exambler.Com Founder Eli Attias, and learning about robotics program, Little Bits (littlebits.com) from engineer Lev Tatz. On Tuesday morning, an assembly will kick off the Hour of Code with inspirational videos about computer science week and the Hour of Code by celebrities.
