CCMS First Annual Hour of Code a Success

Our Middle School's participation of the global movement, Hour of Code, was a tremendous success. During the week of December 7-13, scholars were offered a great deal of opportunities to learn about STEAM and more specifically about coding. Using the Hour of Code website, 59 scholars joined millions of other people around the world in this celebration of Educational Technology.

"At Challenge Charter Middle School, we strive to incorporate real-life applications of Educational Technology to empower our scholars with the skills they will need for College and Career Readiness," stated Jay Strumwasser, Curriculum/Technology Integration Specialist.

Below are two examples of our work our scholars created during the week. Please continue to check back on our Facebook page as we highlight our scholars' work.
