Big News for NY College-bound Students

Today Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his plan to offer free tuition at NY public colleges for middle class families. The announcement was made at LaGuardia Community College with Senator Bernie Sanders at the Governor's side.

CEO/Founder Rev. Dr. Les Mullings and representatives including Dr. Estep, Senior Advisor, Mr. Strumwasser, Technology Coordinator as well as Ms. Caroline Turner, Guidance Counselor at CCMS and Mr. Johnathon Mullings, Challenge Network Assistant attended the event on behalf of Challenge Charter Schools.

"Challenge Prep has always put an emphasis on where our scholars are going. Our investment in the future of each and every student is an integral part of our vision. We hope all of our students attend college, and this announcement by Governor Cuomo is great news for families in the Rockaways," said Dr. Mullings after the announcement.
Recently Challenge Charter Middle School hosted a College Spirit Day to introduce scholars to specific colleges and universities.
